Okay as promised my big busty ladies....these are for a charm swap I am doing. The swap was organised by Julie H and I am looking forward to seeing the results. These are a completely different thing to what I had originally planned to do, but I am happy with them - I used a De Meng style of painting then gave them a gentle rub down with my treasure gold. The photo really doesn't do them much justice as the gold looks too bright with the flash. Wire wrapping is my take on Nina's knots. I have a couple extra (2) so if anyone wishes to do a swap I am happy to oblige.

Last night I didn't actually go to bed till after 2am and couldn't get to sleep for ages, as it is the school holidays and the kids are more than happy to watch one of the kids channels on Foxtel I thought it would be fine for a sleep in. Yeah right!! the universe had some other plan obviously as the door bell went at 8:15am and it was a "man" as I was loudly informed as I struggled out of bed. It was the insulation guy come to fix up an area he had forgotten to do during the building work. I don't think he was transfixed by my beauty as he gave me a "look" LOL there was me all bed hair and pj's. After he left I thought it would be safe to sit and have my cup of tea and toast, but oh no...the door bell went again...kids did the whacky races to answer the door and it was "another man" being announced in a trio of voices, this time it was the roofing guy come to count the ridge tiles as now we have had the extension build the rest of the ridge tiles need done (we did know this before but were taking the blind approach LOL). So he went up on the roof - I think he thinks I am some kind of nutter too..never mind I did mutter to him about 2am and no sleep....I won't get a sleep in tomorrow either as the roofing boys arrive in the morning to do the work - hows that for service! and they start pretty early. I also have the grocery shopping to do as i wasn't willing to take my lot who have been totally feral today to the shops - I would have gone into meltdown - I hate shopping by myself never mind with a bunch of hoons. I should have done it yesterday when they were behaving better, when will I ever learn.

These Busty Ladies look fantastic Ev. Sleep-ins? What are they? My kids are lucky if I get them out of bed before 11am but me, I'm wide awake by 6.30am thinking about all the things I should/could be doing! Try and enjoy the rest of the holidays.

Gosh Ev those charms are just bloomin gorgeous. You are a clever chicky. How funny about the tradesmen - i had a bit of a week like that too, every time i wanted to do something i got interrupted by someone - then i decided to work through the night-didn't quite work out though. my kids have been on holidays for 2 weeks - one more to go.

Your 'busty ladies' look fantastic Ev! Lucky ladies in the swap.
School holidays test the patience of a saint don't they. Did my food shopping on Saturday and walked out $350 lighter, I have a bunch of locusts in my house!!!
Take care of yourself and have an afternoon nana nap!

Evelyn, I love your busty ladies, they remind me of my own body, a busty lady I am.

I had to giggle at your story regarding the attempted sleep in and the day that followed, you have such a humorous way of writing.

love Coby

Great charms Ev - just love the concept and the gold look! Had a laugh about your story - have also had a reno just finished and many a time I had to answer the door in my pj's!
